Hi, I’m Mie and I work with digital marketing, including social media and email marketing. I also teach Danish and translate texts from English to Danish. I hold a degree in Arts & Humanities from University of Copenhagen. I have studied abroad and lived abroad for many years and I’m fluent in written and spoken Danish and English.

I’ve worked with digital marketing including social media for more than 2 years. I have experience in creating strategies and managing social media channels. I’ve helped companies DOUBLE their social media following and engagement rate, creating an authentic voice and establish connection and relationships with their online community. This ultimately lead to increased website visits and conversions. I write copy for Danish- and English-speaking markets.

I've been teaching Danish online and in person for almost 6 years across Copenhagen, London and Sydney. I teach all levels from Beginners to Advanced. I introduce students to the language as well as the culture and history. I ensure each class has a mix of oral and written activities to help students navigate the Danish language confidently.

In addition to teaching the language, I also translate from English to Danish. As a translator, I make sure the meaning of the text don't get lost in translation. I ensure the translated text is as good as it can be in its 'new' language while being authentic to the original piece.

Work Terms
