About

My professional career spans sixteen years. During this time I had specialised in 2 distinct areas. 10 years with Database Development and ETL for Data Warehousing. and currently the last 6 years as a full-stack web technologies developer using MEAN stack and LAMP, with a heavy focus on JavaScript in the browser and NodeJS.

AngularJS has been my life for the last 3 years, with Node frameworks being Express, SailsJS, StrongLoop for API development. Oracle, MySQL/MariaDB, SQL Server for relational databases and MongoDB for datastore scenarios.

I'm well versed in Agile project management, scrums, standups, peer code reviews, TDD, and user stories. Git, Jira, Trello, BitBucket, NPM, Jasmine, Protractor, Karma, docker, CI/CD, Jenkins, are all daily tools of my trade.

Areas I am very excited to be learning are AngularJS 2 and Meteor.
