I’m a purpose-driven professional with over 15 years of experience spanning executive support, corporate communication, international relations, stakeholder engagement, and strategic event management. My journey began in the year 2003, where my early career was shaped by a passion for storytelling, collaboration, and delivering excellence, principles that continue to define how I work today.
My professional story is deeply rooted in private, public service and development. I started my career at Ernst & Young as an Administrative Assistant and later joined the Kenya Institute of Management, where I worked my way up from Executive Assistant to Manager, Public Relations and Communication. During this time, I honed my skills in event planning, brand messaging, and stakeholder engagement; skills I later leveraged at the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) in various roles.
At KRA, I've had the honor of managing and drafting development cooperation agreements, coordinating the Executive representation on regional and international platforms, and facilitating international capacity-building programs with organizations like the IMF, ATAF, and OECD. I’ve coordinated multilateral relationships, negotiated collaboration frameworks, and overseen events that brought together stakeholders from government, civil society, and international organizations.
One of my proudest moments was spearheading a multi-agency tax dialogue that bridged gaps between citizens and state agencies. Watching diverse stakeholders collaborate to drive systemic change reaffirmed my belief in the power of communication, diplomacy, and shared vision. These values—transparency, empathy, and service—guide me not just in work but in life.
After more than a decade in corporate and government institutions, I’m now transitioning into a Virtual Assistant role. Why? Because I’ve learned that behind every thriving organization or executive is a reliable, detail-oriented support system—and I’m excited to become that support for leaders across sectors. Whether it’s managing projects, coordinating global teams, writing compelling content, or handling day-to-day administrative tasks, I bring focus, clarity, and integrity to everything I do.
Outside of work, I’m an avid Toastmaster who has grown immensely through public speaking and leadership roles. I enjoy mentoring young professionals and curating impactful events in my community. Work Terms
I am available to work Monday through Friday, operating on a standard 8-hour workday aligned with the East Africa Time (EAT) zone, currently based in Nairobi, Kenya. My preferred working hours are between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM EAT, but I remain flexible to adjust schedules slightly to accommodate time zone differences and project needs, especially for global clients.
I charge an hourly rate, which allows transparency and flexibility depending on the task complexity and volume. Detailed work logs can be shared upon request for long-term or ongoing projects to ensure accountability and clarity on deliverables.
My preferred channel of communication is electronic mail, which allows for structured and documented correspondence. However, I am open to using other platforms for real-time communication, such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or WhatsApp, when necessary. I also encourage regular check-ins or weekly updates depending on the scope and nature of the assignment, to ensure all expectations are aligned and timelines are met.
Payment terms will be agreed upon prior to the start of any project, and I prefer prompt payments upon delivery of milestones or as per agreed schedules. I am committed to professionalism, confidentiality, and timely execution of assigned duties and believe in building long-term, trustworthy working relationships.
