About

I assist professionals and businesses with various projects

I have been working in healthcare on the administrative and billing side for over 10 years. I have also spent sometime working as an Office Manager/HR Generalist and Customer Service Call Center Manager. I am currently working as an independent contractor with a medical billing company. Some of my tasks include:


• Prepared and submitted UB04 and 1500 claims manually & electronically
• Submitted Medicaid claims in a timely & accurate manner, as well as in accordance with contracts
• Verified Medicare eligibility, processed claims and completed appeals
• Negotiated out of network claim payments
• Secured new business with 4 local provider offices and 2 labs
• Trained overseas representatives on “Billing Best Practices” and HIPAA

In my free time I like to read, write and I enjoy cycling. I also enjoy meeting new people and learning new things.
