The Tongston IT team is led by Adebayo Adeniyi, and an experienced IT team, supported by our education, technology, governance, finance, admin, HR, data, strategy, research and business development and media teams.
Adebayo Adeniyi has served in the capacity of a number of roles in information technology, research, administration and project management across several sectors. Having acted as IT Officer at Outsource Global, Customer Care Representative at Century 21 Freedom Group Int’l and Network Administrator & Cloud Solutions representative at Guut Technologies Ltd. I have developed software and web applications; and trained in the same field and have deep experience with database management having supported the deployment of e-granary software, a leading digital library with 30 million+ educational resources accessible, in several institutions across Nigeria; and worked with the National Library of Nigeria on cataloguing and database management. I have experience across public and private institutions. Whilst at Sharon Education and Training, developed digital learning ecosystems in schools and installed digital libraries and smart boards in various tertiary institutions.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Federal University Lafia and a National Diploma Library and Information Science from the Nasarawa State Polytechnic Lafia. I hold several certifications including but not limited to – the Huawei Certified Network Associate (HCNA) Storage, Huawei Certified Network Associate (HCNA) Unified Communication, Huawei Certified Network Associate (HCNA) Video Conferencing and Google – The fundamentals of digital marketing (Search Engine Optimization). Currently a Student Member of the Nigerian Association of Computer Science Students (NACOSS) and Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Project Management (CIPM).
