- Stay away from windows and walls and do not stand by doors
- If the building contains a shelter, it is recommended to enter it
- Separation of electricity and gas.
Methods of protection from earthquakes at home during their occurrence:
- Trying to go out to an open place if the distance to it is short, but if there is no open place to take shelter in it, it is advised to stay in the same place
- Get down on the ground and hide under a table or desk, if there is one, and put your hands on your head
- Do not leave the building or room until the earthquake is over, because leaving the place where you are may endanger your life
- Keep away from windows, walls, mirrors, and shelves that might collapse or fall
- Get away from gas or any source of fire immediately
- Reassure and calm individuals and children in the home

- Leave the room or house immediately and with caution after the earthquake is completely over
