RECENT PRODUCTION WORK
- A Spring Batch job consuming RFID inventory events from a Solace message bus into
a Sybase repository every five minutes, with a business rule engine, chunk-oriented
processing, error classification, skip and retry, and mail alerting on failure.
It removed invoices that were being wrongly issued to customers.
- A Java digital twin of a physical RFID reader: a multi-threaded TCP socket server
with an internal state machine and a Swing control panel. It replaced the hardware
during QA, gave every tester their own virtual device, and made failure scenarios
such as network timeouts and hardware errors injectable on demand.
- Automated Jira status synchronisation through the REST API, and the Azure DevOps
delivery pipelines that go with it.
