I just received my Certificate in Medical Transcription. Before becoming an independant contractor I worked in an optometrists office for 4 years. My duties included typing correspondance, appointment setting, trascribing, billing, and ocular pre-testing. I enjoy working with others to make the medical environment peaceful and make patients feel at ease.
I originally started E-Secretarial Services in July of 2009 and loved every minute of being a VA. I was an assistant to several clients and some of the services I offered to them are receptionist services, email & calendar management, research, business & personal travel arraignments, social media and blogging, word processing, transcription and accounting (including QuickBooks). After 4 ½ years I took a break from virtual assisting and have worked at an outside company since February 2012 as an accounting assistant at a small car dealership.
