I will perform an in-depth SQL data analysis of datasets to extract meaningful insights, with a focus on mental health trends among students. For this project, I analyzed a dataset of 286 university students (75% international, 25% domestic) to uncover key factors affecting mental health. Using SQL, I calculated average depression scores (PHQ-9), compared subgroups, and explored correlations between acculturative stress, social connectedness, and depression. Results showed a moderate positive correlation between stress and depression (r = 0.39) and a strong negative correlation between social support and depression (r = -0.55), highlighting actionable insights.
