Our Roots
Healing Light Press was founded by Melinda Barss, a published author with a degree in Psychology and English, and a minor in Art. With over 20 years of experience writing professional and ministerial documents—including mental health policy manuals for government and spiritual correspondence—Melinda brings a unique blend of academic, creative, and intuitive expertise.

Her background spans Traditional Chinese Medicine, Reiki, Sound Therapy, Crystal Medicine, and Intuitive Healing, making our approach to publishing truly holistic. Combined with professional training in visual art and design, this knowledge allows us to create works that are not only visually stunning but also soulfully aligned.

Work Terms

Healing Light Press Audiobook Services – Work and Payment Terms
1. Booking & Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking to reserve your project in our production schedule. Work will not begin until payment is received in full.

2. Revisions
We are committed to creating a final product you love. Reasonable revisions are included to ensure the final audiobook meets your expectations. “Reasonable” is defined as up to two rounds of changes; further revisions may incur an additional fee.

3. Final Sale Policy
All sales are final. Due to the custom and creative nature of audiobook production, we do not offer refunds once work has commenced.

4. Communication
Please provide all necessary materials (final manuscript before production begins. Clear communication ensures a smooth and timely process.

5. Turnaround Time
Delivery timelines will be discussed at booking. Expedited services may be available for an additional fee.
