Designing intuitive digital experiences
I am Nwobi Kelechukwu Joseph, a UI/UX Designer with a strong foundation in software engineering and hands-on oil & gas field experience. My career bridges two worlds: the technical rigor of engineering and the creativity of design. This unique blend allows me to translate complex industrial workflows into user-friendly digital solutions.
I have worked as a Product Designer Intern at Baymatrix Ltd, where I designed responsive web and mobile interfaces, contributed to scalable design systems, and collaborated closely with developers to bring ideas to life. My engineering internships with Total Energies EP and Hopic Nigeria Ltd gave me practical exposure to technical documentation, site scanning, and construction workflows — experiences that sharpened my ability to design tools that solve real-world problems.
My core skills include UI/UX design, Figma, wireframing, prototyping, design systems, and user research. I also bring technical expertise in RTC360 laser scanning, Cyclone FIELD, and surveying equipment, which enriches my ability to understand and design for industrial contexts.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Babcock University and have completed the National Youth Service Corps. I am certified in Figma UI/UX Design Essentials and continuously seek opportunities to learn and grow.
Beyond work, I value design thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and technical communication. I am detail-oriented, a rapid learner, and passionate about creating solutions that balance usability with innovation. Work Terms
- Hours of Operation: Available Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM WAT. Flexible for global collaboration across time zones.
- Payment Terms: Negotiable depending on project scope; prefer milestone-based or project completion payments.
