Team Refynd approached us once they had brief idea and initial testing of their rough product. Royale Cheese re-visualised the idea and re-defined the product strategy for the best market fit. Refynd is a hub for students to buy and sell stuff, look for services and events – all while saving money, and the environment. On Refynd, every product has a story to tell. Share a funny memory of your couch, a hidden superpower of your vacuum or a cool tip in a textbook! Refynd is built for students. It knows your aches and pains. Packed with cool features, it makes buying & selling easier than ever.

Refynd (Smart Student Market Place) is an intelligent mobile marketplace, exclusively for college students. Buy, sell and wish for things instantly, from a trusted network of peers. No more flyers, creepy craigslist encounters or mailing lists. Share. Reuse. Be responsible. Be smart! This was one awesome idea where Refynd(then WonkWall) team was working on something for the closed group college network where they wanted students to exchange and share the things. We expanded it further to products, services, events and wishes. They are going live with Columbia University, NewYork, MIT & NYU.

Branding & Logo Creation- The idea behind the branding of Refynd was derived from the very basic purpose of the app that is - reusability. Based on environmentally responsible consumer behaviour fundament R3 was chosen. These were used to explore the concepts for the icon and overall brand guideline. The idea behind REFYND is Reduce, Reuse, Recycle(R3).

User Experience: - Since it is for College Students, the User Experience is most challenging aspect. App allows user to browse and filter the listings from more than 27 categories. From posting a product to booking the items transits smoothly. The app spreads out slowly to it’s enormous possibilities.

Application Design: -To make those layers look gorgeous, our team designed the color guidelines and remarkable set of icons transitions. It follows the theme on interactivity and playfulness among the college goers. Brand color and R3 is followed throughout the app. 

Icons, illustrations and Graphics: - Since it has wide range of categories, it has cool illustrations and iconography.
