Today’s global business environment demands agility and a broad range of multi-disciplinary skills. As a program analyst supervisor handling both domestic and international accounts across multiple time zones, I have had many opportunities to develop and hone the necessary skills for managing my work load, and developing strong vendor relations with our customers. My responsibilities have included data analysis and reporting, problem documentation and resolution using root cause analysis, inventory control, and managing of vendor invoicing and financials for multiple accounts ranging up to one million dollars monthly. While holding this position, I also assisted in the acquisition and development of two new lines of business. As a result of the depth of my involvement, I have been consistently called upon to provide expert assistance in related areas such as process and work instruction development, data collection and analysis, testing software releases, and failure analysis management
All of these accomplishments required the development and implementation of new business skills. I have grown my skills and knowledge through self-directed learning and I have added training in Lean Six Sigma, quality systems management, ISO 9001 Auditing, Project Management, and Product & Service Management among others. I was awarded my Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and would like to pursue black belt certification in the future. By combining this with project management training and certification, I believe I can offer organizations a strong base of skills that can support organizational growth and performance.
While many of these were not considered directly related to my position, all of them have expanded my knowledge and opened new doors. With the Lean Six Sigma certification, I was able to analyze product process flows and profit percentages for the lines, and ultimately increase profit margins by increasing productivity.
