Hi, I’m April Love Tumbaga, I’ve been working in executive and administrative support for several years, mostly in the trucking and mining industries. I’ve managed calendars, emails, billing, reports, payroll, and handled communication with clients and team members.
I have several years of experience in administrative, executive, HR, and accounting roles mainly in the trucking and mining industries. I started as a field and office staff where I handled documentation, client communication, and data encoding. I later took on executive assistant duties, managing calendars, coordinating with clients, preparing reports, and handling confidential matters.
Over time, I moved into HR and accounting responsibilities, including recruitment, payroll, invoice tracking, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. I also served as a billing officer, making sure client billing was accurate and payments were monitored. Most recently, I worked as an assistant manager where I oversaw dispatch operations, truck scheduling, fuel expense monitoring, and team supervision.
Throughout my career, I’ve been hands-on with administrative work, problem-solving, and keeping operations organized. I'm comfortable working independently, multitasking in a fast-paced setup, and using tools like Excel and Word to support business functions efficiently.
As for my ideal work environment, I do best in a place that’s organized, respectful, and where communication is clear. I enjoy working independently, but I also value being part of 9a supportive team where everyone helps each other out. I’m used to working in fast-paced settings, so I’m comfortable with shifting priorities as long as we’re aligned and connected.
My strengths include being highly organized, dependable, and calm under pressure. I’m the type of person who takes initiative, follows through, and always tries to find solutions when problems come up. I’m also great at multitasking and managing time, especially when there are deadlines involved.
In my free time, I love watching documentaries or series on Netflix especially sci-fi or anything that makes me think. I also enjoy listening to music and spending time with my pets. I’m really into nature and the outdoors, I love the beach, watching sunsets, camping, and even just stargazing. I’ve always been fascinated by the universe and science.
One thing I’d love to share is that I’ve been rescuing stray cats and dogs for a few years now. It’s something really close to my heart. My dream is to one day buy a piece of land and build a sanctuary for them a safe space where they can live peacefully.
And if the universe allows, I also want to build my own trucking business someday, since I already know the operations from my previous work. It’s something I’d love to pursue in the future.

• Preferred: Bi-monthly (every 15 days)
