Hi!
I'm a reliable translator with more than 8 years of experience working in Peru, Ecuador and Colombia. I've worked in programs sponsored by the US Department of State, for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru, and for legal and health businesses.
I've also worked as a web content writer and taught English and Spanish grammar.
I've always been interested in languages and the ways to communicate a message in an accurate manner.
I went to a bilingual high school and then studied English for 4 years - I obtained the medal of honor for gaining the highest grade of the class - and French for 3 years in an institute where I worked as a librarian.
Due to my high grades in English, I was offered a job in 2010 to work as an interpreter for an American company in a program sponsored by the US Department of State. I was hired to be the interpreter of English and South African trainers in Peru. I worked for two years in this company and received a letter of recommendation when my contract was over.
This experienced allowed me to work for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru in 2012. I was in charge of translating official documents for high rank officers of the Peruvian Army and Police. They were commissioned to me because I went to Law School for 4 years before starting to work as a translator. I also got a letter of recommendation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru.
In 2013 I left Peru and started working as a translator for health companies. Working for them made me realize of the growth potential this area had to offer, so I decided to specialize in this type of translation along with legal translations.
Since 2014 I'm working as a freelancer translating books, agreements and legal documents, Investigator's Brochures, Drug Master Files, clinical trials, medical device manuals, products information, subtitling health talks and more.
